Saving as .PSDc and Exporting as .png
Always save as a .psdc as you are working to save all your layers.
We ave to the Adobe Cloud so that you have access at home and here at school. It also does not clog up our computers with datat that can be stored on the cloud.
When you ar finished and ready to deliver the final product to the client (me)…
Always go to Save As first and save your last and final good copy with all your layers to the Adobe Cloud.
I may request to see this at any time and think about it as you are proving your prcess and that you made this, not AI.
THEN…
You need to go to
FILE > Export > Quick Export as a .png.
Save to your Documents on your computer as a .png.
This is the file you will post to Padlet, Turn into Google Classroom and share with others if you want via email.
A .png… (Portable Network Graphic) is easily seen by many… a .psdc can only be opened by Photoshop.
Do not turn in .psdc unless I specifically ask you to.
I will most always want your .png.
