Here we will explore how to talk about art and it’s connections to the world and society.

We will learn how to

• Explore how Artist’s come up with ideas… the ideation stage.
• Identify, Explore, and Apply the Elements and the Principles of Art.
• Identify, Explore, and Apply the idea of Mood, or Emotion, in Art.
• Identify, Explore, and Apply Art Styles and Movements and how they relate to Historical Context.
• Learn more about Artist’s lives and voice behind their works of art.
• How Art effects us and others.
• Be able to make educated judgements on what is good art.
• Use this knowledge to develop our own art-making process through critical reflection and shared inspiration.
