WA state Secondary Art Teach of the Year…me!!!

It is an honor to be recognized by the Washington Art Education Association for my contribution to educating, advocating, and participating in Visual Arts Education in my school, district, region, and state.

I have been awarded the 2021 Washington State Secondary Art Teacher of the Year!

I would like to acknowledge my students, their families, my family, friends, fellow teachers, artists, and WAEA members as the main driving force that encourages me to follow my passions, to continue to dream big!
